Data controller and scope
This page is for visitors to Bytesan’s company website and people who contact us. The website introduces Bytesan, its apps and product approach. This information does not cover mobile apps; review the privacy information provided for an app before using it.
Data controller: Bytesan. Personal data and privacy contact: iletisim@bytesan.com. App support: destek@bytesan.com.
What information is used, and how?
You do not need an account to visit this site. The website has no registration, payments or newsletter sign-up, and no advertising, visitor analytics or behaviour tracking script has been added.
Your language, light/dark theme and privacy notice choices are stored in your browser’s localStorage to remember them on future visits. The website application does not send these records to a server.
The contact form uses your name, email address, subject and message only to prepare an email draft in your browser. Preparing a draft does not send a message. If you send it from your own email app, your name, email address and message may be used to answer your request and follow up on support.
Hosting and service providers
The site uses Firebase Hosting. Firebase states that incoming IP addresses are processed to detect abuse and analyse usage data, and retained for a few months. Its global Google infrastructure means this technical data may also be processed outside Türkiye.
Bytesan uses Google Workspace for iletisim@bytesan.com and destek@bytesan.com. When you email us, sender and recipient addresses, the subject, message content and any attachments you send are processed on Google infrastructure for delivery and storage. Your correspondence is used to respond to contact and support requests.
The Google Workspace email service may also involve processing outside Türkiye. Storage and processing locations depend on the service terms and any applicable data region settings.
Article 9 of the KVKK sets separate conditions for international transfers. Visiting the website or closing its privacy notice is not transfer consent. A provider’s international privacy documents are not, by themselves, presented as a KVKK transfer safeguard implemented by Bytesan.
Retention and managing your choices
Browser preference records may remain until you change them, clear the site’s data or your browser removes them. You can remove them in your browser’s site-data settings, and change language and theme from the header.
Sent correspondence may be stored in Google Workspace mailboxes and the sender’s email system. Clearing browser records does not delete sent emails or technical records held by the hosting provider. You can send information or deletion requests about your correspondence to our privacy contact address.
Your rights under the KVKK
Subject to the applicable conditions, Article 11 of Law No. 6698 gives you the following rights.
- Learn whether your data is processed and request information about it.
- Learn the purpose, whether use matches that purpose, and recipients in Türkiye or abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Request erasure or destruction of your data where legally applicable.
- Request notification of corrections, erasure or destruction to third parties that received the data.
- Object to an adverse outcome resulting solely from automated analysis.
- Seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Requests and further information
You can send privacy questions and an explanation of your request to iletisim@bytesan.com. Statutory rights requests are subject to the methods and identity verification requirements in the Communiqué on Requests to Data Controllers; this general contact address does not replace other statutory application methods.
The statutory response period for a valid request is as soon as possible and no later than 30 days. Requests are generally free; the Board’s tariff may apply where an additional cost arises. Do not send passwords, access keys or unnecessary identity documents in your first message.
